Dear you,I've finally managed to use the default connection manager with my F3507g card.Basically, you have to extract drivers from the MSI package from Lenovo drivers (which supports windows 7 default connMan) and replace drivers provided by toshiba: MANUALLY!I'm posting some images as proof, and working to create a guide. Unfortunately there's no way to install drivers using lenovo's msi as it does some sort of authentication to the device before installing. However, once manual installation is done, the device works like a charm. It actually connects at 7.2Mbps this means i'm using HSDPA: too bad there's no way to look which network you're using.Advantages are: you can finally have GPS sensor listed on Location and Sensors tab, and you can connect to WWAN without the need of 3rd party applications.Images follows, i hope i have time to post a guide soon. Hi TabbedOut. Please wait before adding this to HW/SW thread. I'd like someone else to test this solution before.-Disclamer:- This procedure does not add any new feature to your Mobile Broadband.- Installing this drivers in place of toshiba F3507g standard drivers is.not.

supported by Toshiba, nor by me.- This guide is provided as is, and is still beta. I've just tested it for one day, and it seems to work. However, i can't provide full assurance that future fixes or updates won't break the functionality provided.- This guide involves manually installing/uninstalling drivers: although i think it's almost safe, this could cause damage to your operating system (not your hardware) and may require a full reinstallation. Unless you feel comfortable with steps listed above, please, wait more expert users to test this before apply.- Please, to avoid data loss, backup important data before applying.- This procedure has been tested on x64 bits of windows 7 only, although it should work on x86 operating system. Objectives:Windows 7 introduced a new api for GPS and Mobile Broadband devices, which are now supported out of the box. However, new drivers are required for both mobile broadband modem and GPS sensor to be correctly recognized. Toshiba provided new drivers compatible with Windows 7, however, they are not compatible with new api, thus still requires 3rd party software to:- Enable/disable GPS.- Enable/disable/connect to mobile networks.Lenovo provided drivers which perfectly fit with new apis allowing both devices to be managed by operating systems.
However, during installation, a check is performed over the device, which aborts installation. The objective of this guide is to use theese drivers with our Toshiba F3507g, removing the need of 3rd party software. OS components should be more stable than 3rd party applications.Walkthrough:1) Log on as Administrator if you run your environment under limited privileged user.2) Remove 'TOSHIBA F3507g Mobile Broadband Device' drivers from Control Panel / Programs and Features. Please note the removal should only uninstall hardware but not remove completely the drivers. Don't worry about this. Do no reboot. The OS would detect the device again and install the crappy toshiba drivers.3) Download the file.
This file contains x64 bits only drivers and catalogs (sorry x86 dudes, i haven't a x86 environment) manually extracted from lenovo MSI and unified in a single directory. Extract that folder on your desktop.4) Open the Device Manager under control panel. Right-click on the root of the tree (where the name of your computer is shown) and choose 'Scan for hardware changes'. A new hardware should be detected (woah!) and windows should ask you drivers.
If this is not your case, you should find a warning USB device named 'Toshiba F3507g bla bla bla' under your USB devices in device manager.5) Double click it and choose the Driver tab. Choose Update Driver.6) Click 'Browse my computer for driver software' then choose 'let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer'. A new windows should appear. Click the 'have disk' button.7) On the new window, click browse and navigate to the folder you have extracted files. Should be something like '3G Ericsson DriversUnified'. Then click 'OK'.8) Choose the signed 'F3507g Mobile Broadband Device', the one with the certificate next to the name.9) Allow your system to install the driver.10) Reboot. The system should find all other five (5) devices as shown in figure automatically.
F3507g Driver Windows 7 Dell Inspiron
I say should, becouse i've found with manual installation this is not always true, and i can't explain why.At the end this is how the system should be (yeah you got it, i haven't yet installed the AMT drivers). If this is not your case, you will have problems.NB: Again, this post is provided as is. If any experienced user can give it a try, i can offer him remote support, if something goes wrong. Please note i'm offering support to experienced users only, in this first stage. UPDATE: Based on my research (you can see them on the screenshot above), i'm actually using mixed drivers. Some are installed from toshiba drivers for windows 7, some others from the package i've provided. The three drivers which i suppose needs updates are:- The GPS Driver (Which uses w36wgps.sys and e32gsen.dll)- The Toshiba F3507g Mobile Broadband Network Adapter (Which uses the WwanUsbMp64.sys)- The F3507g Mobile Broadband USIM Port (which uses standard microsoft drivers scfilter.sys provided by Ericsson)I suppose you just need to upgrade them to get connection manager support to F3507g.I'd like a user to try updating them before trying updating the whole drivers (which can result in an error).
All catalogs can be found in the 'Unified' foler.I think the drivers from the network adapter are required from the connection manager, while the drivers from the gps are needed by 'devices and printers' to recognize the GPS Sensor. If you have any feedback, i'm waiting. Hi!I would like to test the drivers.but the rapidshare link is down:-(Can you upload it again?Thanks,andre217//Edit:For what I need the drivers:I have bought a Dell wireless-wan card and I have a Lenovo notebook. I think, that the cards are in general the same, so the drivers should work.
My only problem (at the moment) is, that I can't extract the drivers from the Driver Packages they provide.I think that the Dell package wants a Dell notebook and the Lenovo package wants a Lenovo card.
They would ask me for help, but I could find no rhyme or reason to why they were being rejected. As my department teaches JS, we don't rely on it, but it was a good form of review. Intel indeo r5 1 codecademy review. I now do not recommend Codecademy's JS course for this, and as a whole suggest students use a trial of or to review.I too, like Eloquent JavaScript as a place to start, but absolute programming beginners, but who know HTML and CSS, still find that book too heavy a read.
In this tutorial i will show you how to install windows drivers for Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows Xp and im pretty sure these methods should work on Windows 8 as well.Update.I've updated the program. So now you should:1. Install the program.2. Run the program.3. Update database with the Live Updater and close it after.4. Replace the original DriverGenius.exe with the cracked one.5.
